1 Pruning & Planting Apple & Pear Trees
We will be offering a workshop on Pruning & Planting Apple and Pear Trees at West Bradley Orchards in early 2012. This is a one day workshop with concentrated practical tuition for people who have a few trees or a small to medium size orchard and are interested in learning how to prune the trees themselves.
We will also be talking about planting new orchards and explaining how to go about it.
Workshops are a full day, with the morning being devoted to classroom-based learning, then lunch (included) and the afternoon being spent in the orchard for hands-on tuition.

2 An Introduction to Orchard Management
We have had a lot of enquiries from people involved with Community Orchards about a workshop that would tell them about the basics of orchard management. This is a workshop for Community Orchard owners, first time owners of small orchards, owners of neglected orchards or those considering planting a new orchard.
You will be spending a whole day in the orchards with an opportunity for practical hands-on experience with all aspects of orchard management.
Workshops are a full day, starting at 9.00 and finishing at 4.30

Fees: £70 per person inc refreshments and lunch
3 An Introduction to West Country Cider Making
This is a fun day at West Bradley Orchards for cider-making novices. Learn about the different varieties of cider apple and how to grow them, basic principles of cider-making, and of course enjoy some practical tasting experience with our Orchard Pig ciders.
This is an enjoyable light hearted day, ideal as a celebration present for a cider lover.
Workshops are a full day, starting at 9.00 and finishing at 4.30
